The Citizens’ Assembly of Obrenovac recently hosted a panel titled “For Whom, For What… EXPO?”, where Polekol had the opportunity to present perspectives on urban planning, water source protection, and environmental sustainability.

In front of several dozen interested citizens of this Belgrade municipality, as well as guests from the solidarity assembly of Surčin, Polekol members Iva Marković and Iskra Krstić, along with Professor Aleksandra Nenadović, presented their introductions and reflections.

The organizers and participants posed a question of crucial importance for both the local and national community: if EXPO represents a “leap into the future,” what kind of future do we truly want?
