Tampon zona: Who owns our water?

The Right to Water initiative was a guest in the latest episode of the podcast Tampon Zona!

Heatwaves, droughts, and wildfires — the climate crisis is more visible than ever, and its consequences have a profound impact on the lives of people, animals, and plants.

What is happening with our water? Why have we normalized the fact that tap water is unsafe when we have a Constitutionally guaranteed right to safe drinking water? What is the state of our rivers, and what about our healing springs?

How does this system treat nature and the ecosystem, and what does it value? Will we sacrifice our rivers and endanger our health for someone else’s profit?

We talked about all of this — but also about people’s solidarity, community gatherings, the Women’s Network for the Protection of Nature and the Environment, and ecofeminism — in the new episode of Tampon Zona!
