A Polekol representative participated in the Free Flow conference in Groningen

The Right to Water initiative, together with two local initiatives, Save Studenica and Save the mountain rivers of Kraljevo, today, May 20, 2024, again sent the initiative to the councilors of the Kraljevo City Assembly for the adoption of a moratorium on the construction of small hydropower plants.

Western Serbia is suffocating in a cloud of toxic smoke from the "Duboko" landfill, but also in the irresponsibility of local officials, national institutions and the management of PUK Duboko, as the operator of the landfill.

Water for all, water for peace. At its annual meeting, the European Water Movement reaffirms the public and democratic management of this vital resource, which should be preserved as a common good, with opposition to any form of privatization, commodification, use as a means of warfare and expropriation.

Polekol and the Right to Water initiative submitted to the Court of Honor of the Chamber of Engineers a complaint against the responsible urban planner for the Urban Project for the small hydroelectric plant "Mlanča".
