The right to water allows you to jointly, in a simple way, send a petition for the restoration of an existing or the construction of a new public fountain in a place where you think its existence is necessary.
Year after year, we face increasingly frequent and intense heat waves. Extremely high temperatures, caused by climate change, can seriously damage people’s health, especially vulnerable groups such as children, people with chronic diseases, the elderly and people in a situation of homelessness. Water during such weather disasters is lifesaving, and providing access to water through public taps is an urgent measure to mitigate the unwanted consequences.
We do this because we believe that water is a public good, and we advocate that it must be made available to everyone on a non-profit basis. Living in changed climatic conditions, we believe that we cannot talk about a functional public health system if there are no public fountains with clean drinking water on public areas. By public areas, we mean those areas that are accessible to everyone, which serves for joint activities, gatherings and interaction of people, such as streets, squares, parks, schoolyards and kindergartens, sports fields, promenades and the like.
That’s why we launched the action “TOGETHER WE SEND INITIATIVES TO MAKE THE FOUNTAIN ALIVE”. Individuals, initiatives, citizen associations – everyone can participate in sending initiatives! Click on the “SEND INITIATIVE” button and fill out a simple form where you will fill in all the necessary details for sending the initiative.
This is what the initiative will look like when you fill in the details.

Please use this form in good faith in accordance with the intended purpose and in compliance with all positive regulations of the Republic of Serbia.
