Beograd, 18-20. novembar 2022. godine

Evropska Zelena fondacija uz podršku Organizacije za političku ekologiju PolEkol, od 18. do 20. novembra 2022. godine, organizuje po drugi put Akademiju zeleni horizonti. Tema ovogodišnje Akademije biće “dobar kolektiv”, sa akcentom na poboljšanju organizacionih struktura i okruženja u kojem delujemo, mentalnom zdravlju i prevenciji  sindroma pregorevanja u zelenom pokretu i širem građanskom društvu.

Širom regiona aktivisti svakodnevno trpe brojne spoljne pritiske.

  • Kako brinuti o mentalnom zdravlju aktivista i sprečiti pregorevanje?

GREEN HORIZONS ACADEMY – „GOOD COLLECTIVE“

Belgrade, 18-20. November 2022

From November 18 to 20, 2022, the Green European Foundation in cooperation with Organisation for Political Ecology PolEkol is organising the Green Horizons Academy for the second time. The theme of this year’s Academy will be „a good collective“, with an emphasis on improving organisational structures and the environment in which we function, mental health and prevention of burnout syndrome in the green movement and wider civic society.

Throughout Europe, activists face numerous external pressures every day. To these pressures, we add a trap into which we as activists often unwittingly fall. We all witnessed or experienced (self)exploitation, productivity race to the bottom, unequal distribution of work tasks and power, various forms of discrimination, and finally burnout and giving up the fight.

That is why we decided to discuss and work on building good collectives at the Green Horizon Academy! During the three days of the Academy, a series of lectures, workshops and panels will be held, where we will try to answer some of the following questions:

  • What are good activist collectives?
  • What do sustainable structures look like?
  • How to care for the mental health of activists and prevent burnout?

On the path to a good collective, we have at our disposal knowledge and skills from the sphere of politics, psychology, sociology and other social sciences. They can help us to apply the ideas we advocate in public within the growing green movement, adapt the internal values and management of our organizations so that they are as humane and as democratic as possible, the working environment as stimulating and supportive as possible, and collectives open to diversity.
